Pandemic

Dear clients,

I want to see how you are feeling today. During this time, there’s a lot of uncertainty, but try to remember that social distancing doesn’t have to mean social isolating. It’s an opportunity to be present with our loved ones, organize, do a little spring cleaning and get outside for a walk or a hike. It’s also an excellent time for self-care.

With your health in mind… I will be cancelling all appointments from 03/19/2020 to 04/01/2020.

I care about your mental state and emotional well being. I want to offer these simple tips to take care of yourself during these uncertain times.

  1. Remember those products you bought from me but haven’t been a faithful user? Get them out! Now is the time to treat yourself! If you’re not sure what to do, reach out, and I’ll help you. If you’re running low on products, I am happy to coordinate shipping, quick pickup, or even delivery (if I can swing by) so you don’t go without. Reply to me if you are in need.
  2. It’s normal to indulge in sweets and wine during stressful times. I’m giving you permission. 🙂 Heck, I would join you in person, if I could. If you take part in any #emotionaleating, here’s a beauty tip. Put your eye cream in the fridge, and not only will it feel great, but you’ll also say goodbye to puffy eyes.
  3. Use essential oils to elevate your mood! I recommend Elevate from DoTerra, this refreshing scent can help elevate your mood and lift your spirit. Lavender is also a wonderful choice for relaxation and easy to purchase. Thieves from Young Living or OnGuard from DoTerra is a blend of essential oils, which includes clove, rosemary, citrus, eucalyptus, and cinnamon bark. The rich and spicy aroma is said to help with immune support. If you have questions on mixing, diffusing, or using essential oils, please reach out.
  4. Take a hot bath and throw in some Epson Salt with Lavender essential oil to enjoy the benefits of improved sleep, breathing, and detoxification.
  5. Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting. Get caught up on your shows or connect with your friends/family instead!
  6. If your skin is starting to show the signs of stress, my favorite tea is Sage Leaf Tea from Buddha Teas (on Amazon), which is anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant and promote healthy skin and wound healing.

So during these slow times, be sure to make time for self-care, love, and get outside! Enjoy the sunshine when you can, and get your Vitamin D. It’s good for the brain, and thus, good for the soul!
